WOMB YOGA
“ No outer teacher can come close to the deep sense of wisdom and understanding that flows through a woman who is absolutely and profoundly connected with her own intuitive understanding.”

About Womb Yoga
Womb Yoga is for all women. For women of all ages and life stages, with or without wombs, menstruating or not menstruating.

Womb Yoga is about reconnecting with the deep wisdom of cycles throughout the whole
of a woman’s life, from pre-menarche to post-menopause. It's a nurturing and therapeutic approach to yoga, specially developed to support women's health and healing.
The teachings combine many dimensions of yoga practice to promote
optimal well-being, deep inner listening, contentment, freedom and empowerment.

From Hatha yoga, Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) and meditation, to Tantric practices, teachings of the
Ten Great Wisdom Goddesses, dance-like flows of feminine yoga postures, and attention to the intimate relationship between posture and pelvic health, Womb Yoga honors and celebrates the female body.
Benefits of Womb Yoga practices
Menstrual cycle awareness
Womb Yoga supports us to be more in tune with our inner lunar
rhythms and helps to bring awareness to menstrual cycle and menstrual health.
Sexuality
Womb Yoga practices activate the life force, our Shakti energy, and support the energy flow from the heart into the womb, opening us up to fully embrace our sexuality. The flowing feminine
practices empower us to recognize the cycles of our own desires, inviting us to explore and enjoy the wonderful delights that conscious sexuality brings.
A woman who is in good contact with her own sexuality is a
woman who is genuinely in touch with her greatest power.
Fertility and Post-Natal recovery
Womb Yoga is a softer approach to yoga that brings ease and nurturing, thus being
greatly supportive for fertility and post-natal recovery. Breathing techniques, meditations and deep rest through Yoga Nidra activate the conscious awareness, guide us back to ourselves and bring vitality back to the womb.
Womb- and life challenges
Womb Yoga supports us to face the challenges of miscarriage, abortions, traumas, grief
and health issues. It reconnects us with the nurturing and creative energy of the womb,
opening us to acceptance, love, healing, forgiveness and moving forward. It helps to rebuild the connection to our feminine energy.
Pelvic organ support
Womb Yoga practices activate vitality, teach postural awareness and support pelvic health. Practices tone pelvic organs, that helps to prevent the prolapse, or can bring healing and effective recovery.
Transformation - from peri- to postmenopause
Womb Yoga assists us through the journey of peri-menopause to the post- menopausal time, helping us to see the wisdom and spiritual teachings of this Big Change. Practices bring ease and soothing energy to the body, mind, emotions, opening us up to acceptance, honoring ourselves and seeing this transformation as a natural part of our life cycle.
When we practice yoga with full awareness of our femininity and cyclical nature, choosing wisely the practices that most support our health and well-being, then yoga is a very powerful tool that brings ease, empowerment and uplifts the spirit.
